acupressureAcupressure as a science is considered quite ancient, with its origins dating back to ancient China. The technique involves the very same principles used in acupuncture. In acupressure, however, fingers are used in specific, special areas of the body, rather than needles. Essentially the purpose is to free any energy centers which are clogged or blocked.

Also considered a massage therapy, acupressure is designed to activate and stimulate the energies of the body. These energies are channeled towards fighting any problems involving hormonal imbalances.

As well, the method may be able to heal certain health problems, such as blood pressure which is too high or too low; stress; pain; general suffering; cramps in the muscles; arthritis; and fighting different illnesses, as well as helping the body regenerate and recuperate from them.
