When I think of licorice, the first thing that I think about it actually the red licorice candy; however, there is another type of licorice out there, licorice root. I have to say that it can truly help with your body overall, especially if you have a lot of digestive problems.
Licorice root is something that has been around for quite some time and whether you use it in tea or you add it into your diet somehow, if you have a lot of stomach problems, it can really help you.
Licorice has been known to have not only antiviral, muscle relaxant qualities and finally anti inflammatory qualities inside of it but it is also a very, very calming herb that can help de-stress you.
I have to say that before this blog, I had no idea that bilberries were different than blueberries. I mean, if the picture is any indication, bilberries definitely look just like blueberries but they are a little bit different. These particular berries are actually fantastic for your body – especially your circulatory system, your eyes and certainly your brain and heart.
One thing that I have noticed about bilberries is the fact that they will actually improve the circulation of the blood throughout your body. This will not only assist with your heart, keeping your heart rate normal, but overall, you will feel better!
