ChamomileNow that we have talked about two herbs and plants that are fantastic for you garden and things that you can actually use – let’s discuss a couple more.  One of the best things to have in your garden is Chamomile.  Chamomile in general has over 100 medical uses for your body.

It can help everything from digestive problems all the way to toothaches, earaches, shoulder pain and finally common wounds, it all just depends on how you use it.  You can also use chamomile to calm yourself down and sleep better.  It has been proven that chamomile tea will really; really assist you with your nerves.

Another plant that is really good to have in your backpack is peppermint.  This will only calm you down and can actually help relieve headaches and migraines.  Now that you know what you need – get out there and plant it!

Aloe VeraSo my parents have started this garden – to not only grow some herbs but also to grow some veggies.  Well, that got me thinking, what herbs would be really good to actually have right in your backyard.  Well, that is what the next few blogs are going to be about – what you can grow in your backyard that can benefit from you.

One of the first plants that you should grow is Aloe Vera.  This is a plant that will come in serious use, not only for burns, but for your skin.  Honestly, this is a fantastic plant for treating everything from burning all the way to reducing inflammation!

Next up on the list s Great Burdock; also referred to as edible burlock or lappa burlock.  This is a medicinal plant that is used as a root vegetable and it is actually a blood purifying agent.  It works wonders for your blood inside and out!

Aromatherapy is something that you can use for many, many different things.  Physical, mental and emotional help can all come from the different scents that you are inhaling.  However, did you know that Lavender the scent can truly do many different things for you and not just put you to sleep.  That is one of the cool things about lavender – it has so many benefits to it.

One of the biggest things that I have noticed about lavender oil is the fact that it actually can calm you down.  Let’s say that you are at work and you are stressed out – just take out your little bottle of this beautiful liquid and I can promise that you are going to be calmed right the hell down.

Also, if you put lavender into your tub when you are taking a bath, I can promise that it will make your skin feel so soft and you will be so calmed and relaxed, it truly is crazy!

Naturopathy

If you are like me – you had no idea what Naturopathy was or what it meant to actually practice it.  Naturopathy is actually a way of life and people who believe in it actually use all natural materials and methods to heal the sick.  It can honestly be described as a medical procedure, employing the therapeutic advantages of nature.  Naturopathy has actually been in practice for years and years, dating back to the 18th century actually and it is still practiced quite a bit in these dates.

Naturopathy has gradually been taken over by medical research and science, however, it still holds true that materials and methods are mainly all natural.  Personally, I think that Naturopathy is not used enough in today’s day and age.  I think that using herbs and such from nature is the very best way to go, however – many people want to just pop some pills and feel better.

Naturopathy is not for everyone, however it is going to be one of the healthiest ways to go!
